Blended Learning (Online & In-Person) Guard Card Training Course. Part A - Power to Arrest training completed online (3 hours). Part B - Appropriate Use of Force training (5 hours) must be completed in person at our Oakland training facility. We offer in-person training once a month on Wednesdays or Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. *An additional $129.00 fee is due at the in-person course for the BSIS Guard Card Application and Live Scan fingerprinting background processing fees.
